2014

May 8 - Gallivan Center, Salt Lake City, Excellence in the Community Concert Series Presented Aspen Winds: Musical Landscapes. Performance included Poulenc's Wind Sextet, Daniel Baldwin's "Landscapes", Utah's premiere of Bill Douglas Quartet for Winds, and other works for wind quintet.

May 1 - Mountain West Arts Conference.

February 28 - Clarinetfest at Brigham Young University 7:30 pm.  Members of Aspen Winds performed movement 3, "Of Quiet Reflection: Mount Kahtadin from Millinockit Camp, 1895" of Daniel Baldwin's "Landscapes" on a potpourri concert in the Madsen Recital Hall.

January 22 - Gunnison UT, Casino Star Theater 7:30 pm.  Excellence in the Community and the city of Gunnison invited Aspen Winds to visit their schools, performing Peter and the Wolf.  Then members of Aspen Winds performed a concert of quintet music including D'Rivera's Aires Tropicales, Norman Hallam's Dance Suite, and other toe tapping tunes.

2013

December 30 - Salt Lake City EVE Celebration on Temple Square, Assembly Hall, SLC - 7:00 pm performing "The Steadfast Tin Soldier" with guests Sharilynn Toler, piano, Randy Lee, trumpet, and Rachel Hedman, storyteller as well as "Peter and the Wolf".  Sally Humphries, flute, Stephanie Simper, oboe, Amy Gabbitas, clarinet, Jessica Miller, bassoon, Kit Weber, horn.

October 12 - Bluff Fort Co-op dedication, 9:30 am.  This was part of a pioneer heritage celebration in Bluff UT, San Juan County, where Stephanie Simper, Amy Gabbitas and violinist Kristi Jenkins performed trios such as "Bonnie Sweet Bessie", "Come Come Ye Saints", "All Through the Night" and other appropriate period tunes, both religious and classical.

October 4 - LDS Composer Guild Concert, SLC - 7:00-9:00 pm performing Alyssa Morris' quartet "Motion" with Amy Gabbitas, Stephanie Simper, Sally Humphrys and Luke Pfeil.  Amy Gabbitas, Kristi Jenkins and Camille Balleza also performed Aaron Pike's trio "Child's Play" and Stephanie Simper and Kerri Green performed Robert Manookin's "Oboe Sonata". 

September 16 - Provo City Library - 7:00-8:00 pm performing Carnival of the Animals and Aesops Fables, Ferdinand the Bull and Peter and the Wolf with Rachel Hedman.  Woodwind Quintet: Lisa Whatcott, Stephanie Simper, Amy Gabbitas, Jessica Miller and Aaron Price.

September 15 - Springville Art Museum - 5:00-6:00 pm performing David Maslanka's Quintet for Winds no. 1, Gyorgy Ligeti's Six Bagatelles and Arne Running's Aria and Quodlibet. Woodwind Quintet: Sally Humphrys, Stephanie Simper, Amy Gabbitas, Luke Pfeil, Kit Weber.  

July 22 - Orem City Center Park - 7:00-8:00 pm performing Patriotic music, David Crowe's Red Oak Suite and "The Woolly Business of Orderville", Ferdinand the Bull, Ugly Duckling, Peter and the Wolf and Arne Running's Quodlibet. Rachel Hedman, storyteller.  Woodwind Quintet: Lisa Whatcott, Stephanie Simper, Amy Gabbitas, Jessica Miller, Emily Bier.

July 15 - Highland City Center: Summer Chamber Music Festival - 6:30-9:00 pm.  Aspen Winds performed Arne Running's Aria and Quodlibet and David Crowe's Red Oak Suite, and was joined by Aquarelle String Quartet performing Narrations for String Quartet by Emile Naoumoff and Shostakovich String Quartet no. 3. Also joined by High School and Collegeate student groups.

May 31 - Saratoga Springs Arts Council Silent Auction - 7:00 pm performed Samuel Barber's Summer Music.  Woodwind Quintet: Lisa Whatcott, Stephanie Simper, Amy Gabbitas, Jessica Miller, Kit Weber

March 1 - Covey Center for the Arts - 7:00-8:00 pm performing "The Ugly Duckling and Other Story Music" with Rachel Hedman, storyteller.  Performed Jenni Brandon's Five Frogs with stories of Vasalisa and the Princess and the Frog, John Mills Ugly Duckling and "Rubber Duckie" arranged by Kit Weber.  Woodwind Quintet: Lisa Whatcott, Stephanie Simper, Amy Gabbitas, Jessi Vandagriff, Kit Weber.

February 27 - Weber State Storytelling Festival, Davis Conference Center - 7:00 pm performed Maurice Ravel's "Mother Goose Suite" with Rachel Hedman's fairy tale story scenes and Peter and the Wolf.   Woodwind Quintet: Lisa Whatcott, Stephanie Simper, Amy Gabbitas, Jessica Miller, Kit Weber.

February 1 - Covey Center for the Arts, Lobby Music - 7:00 pm performed Carl Reineke, Felix Mendelsohnn, Ponchielli, and Mary Chandler Trios. Stephanie Simper, oboe, Amy Gabbitas, clarinet, Kit Weber, horn, Abby Tippets, clarinet, and Kurt Hansen, piano.

January 5 - Utah Arts Days on Capitol Hill - 12:00 pm performed Ibert's Trois Piece Breves, Ravel's Mother Goose Suite, Carl Neilsen Woodwind Quintet mvmt 2. Woodwind Quintet: Janine Glocheretz, Stephanie Simper, Amy Gabbitas, Jessi Vandagriff, Kit Weber. 

2012

December 21 - Elk Lodge, Provo UT - 7:00 pm performed Malcolm Arnold "Three Shanties", Jaque Ibert "Trois Piece Breves", Christmas Carols and Neilsen Wind Quintet mvt. 2.  Woodwind Quintet: Lisa Whatcott, Stephanie Simper, Amy Gabbitas, Jessi Vandagriff, Kit Weber.

December 7 - Covey Center for the Arts - 7:00 pm performed Paquito D'Rivera Aires Tropicales, Jaque Ibert Trois Piece Breves, Darius Milhaud La Cheminee du Roi Rene and Marsha Schweitzer's Christmas Collection. This concert served as a service project where audience members and performers created Christmas Cards to send to families of active military personnel.  Woodwind Quintet: Lisa Whatcott, Stephanie Simper, Amy Gabbitas, Jessi Vandagriff, Jeff Michaelis - singing by Kate Gabbitas. 

November 30, December 1 - Utah Civic Ballet Company at Canyon View Junior High - 3 performances of the complete Peter and the Wolf with choreographed dancers, performed by woodwind quintet, Lisa Whatcott, Stephanie Simper, Amy Gabbitas, Jessi Vandagriff and Kit Weber. Also performed Marsha Schweitzer's Christmas Collection.

November 2 - Covey Center for the Arts - 7:00-9:00 pm performed Beethoven's Quintet, Jenni Brandon's Five Frogs, Malcolm Arnold Three Shanties, John Rutter's Three American Miniatures, and other piano and quintet favorites. Woodwind Quintet and Piano: Lisa Whatcott, Stephanie Simper, Amy Gabbitas, Jessi Vandagriff, Kit Weber and Kurt Hansen.

October 4 - Covey Center for the Arts - 7:00-8:30 pm performed "Peter and the Wolf and Other Story Music" premiere.  This was Aspen Winds first collaborative concert with storyteller, Rachel Hedman.  The program consisted of Maurice Ravel's "Mother Goose Suite", Mark Fish "Ferdinand the Bull" and Prokofiev "Peter and the Wolf". Woodwind Quintet: Lisa Whatcott, Stephanie Simper, Amy Gabbitas, Jessica Miller and Kit Weber. 

September 7 - Covey Center for the Arts - 7:00 pm performance of flute, clarinet and piano music dating from 1800-present. Lisa Whatcott, flute, Amy Gabbitas, clarinet and Maria Heward, piano.7/15
