Luke Pfeil, bassoon, is a favorite in the Salt Lake City music scene, performing frequently with the Utah Symphony, the Utah Chamber Artists, Aspen Winds, Prevailing Winds, and many others. Praised for the "color and character" of his sound by the Washington Post, Mr. Pfeil earned both Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, then did post-graduate studies at Boston University. Mr. Pfeil is also a composer and arranger, whose works have been performed in Houston, Baltimore, Washington D.C., Salt Lake City and Logan, Utah, Miami and the Cayman Islands, and at the Aspen Music Festival and Alice Tully Hall in New York City.
